Advantages of Using Termite Detection Dogs

University of Florida University paper found that termite detection dogs have a accuracy rate of 96% whereas human inspection relying on human eyes and ears is approximately 45%.

Dogs can sniff under floorboards and through walls where we can’t physically see.

Dogs have the ability to smell thru the carpets where termites love the smooth edge which is their favourite food – PINE

Detection dogs are now growing in popularity in the Health Industry as well as Law and Order and Biosecurity due to their high accuracy rates.

Detection dogs were used to search out injured koalas in the aftermath of Australia’s horrific fires of 2019/2020.

Detection dogs are being utilized in Queensland and Western Australia to detect the potentially crippling Fire Ant and just recently the Jumping Jack Ant from Tasmania.
